Are you an Early Career Professional (ECP)? Do you have 0-2 years of work experience and want to pursue a Business/Management degree? Are you finding yourself ineligible for MBA programs? Don't worry because you are reading Faith Career's blog!
In this blog post, Faith Career's Co-founder & Study Abroad Coach Tanmay Singh will share how these two seemingly different programs are alike and why more and more young professionals these days are choosing to pursue MIM programs over a much more expensive MBA degree.

There are many similarities between MIM & MBA programs which should encourage you to have a look at MIM programs:
1️⃣ Both degrees are skills-driven. You will be learning a number of relevant skills & thoroughly upskilling yourself.
2️⃣ Both MIM & MBA follow a case study approach to problem solving and understanding the organization & functioning of companies.
3️⃣ Both are job-oriented degrees and there are high chances that you'd find yourself in the corporate sphere after pursuing either degree.
4️⃣ Whether you pursue an MBA or an MIM, you can be assured that a practical pedagogical style would be followed which would represent an amalgamation of both theoretical & practical parts of the curriculum.
5️⃣ Since both MIM & MBA are usually of two years in duration, you would have the opportunity to do at least one internship (after the first year). Many MIM programs allow students to take a "gap year" right before the second year during which they can pursue two long-term internships (6 + 6 months).
6️⃣ There is an option to select a ‘Specialization’/'Concentration' in both programs, so that you can study courses of your choice during the second year.
